KATERINA GEORGOULIA | Owner & Lead Educator - Meet the Teacher
Katerina is an art historian with a passion for art pedagogy and children's art education. She holds a BA in History and Archaeology from the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens (School of Philosophy), as well as an MA and a PhD in History of Art from the University of York (UK). She specialises in the relationship between Art and Medicine in Early Modern Europe, with published research work ("Rubens and Early Modern Dietetics", 2018).
After working as a Research Associate at the University of York, she decided to channel her knowledge into teaching children. She gained years of experience as an art teacher at KidsArtUK, while also maintaining a long career teaching Greek as a first, second, or foreign language to children and adults in London (Hellenic School of High Barnet).
